Why are these special? What will I learn along the way?
These are rare opportunities to earn invaluable experience in an immersion-learning environment with an experienced captain by your side. You’ll be able to gain true bluewater, offshore experience, and earn ASA 105 and ASA 106 on the 10-day, 14-day, and crossing trips. This will be an opportunity to learn offshore preparation of the vessel, do night watches, learn latest navigation equipment including radar, understand weather routing and practice pen ocean route planning.
Why do I have to wait for sign ups to open on Nov 4th? Can’t I just send you money now and lock in my spot?
To open up this unique opportunity to as many of our alumni as possible, we are allowing a full week for people to conduct their research so that they may submit an informed decision. Previously, an adventure like this sold out in 48 hours and, unfortunately, folks that were out of town or off-the-grid missed the chance to participate. Our goal is to get as many alumni on board as possible!

The sign up link goes live at 12:00 pm EST on Saturday, 04 November. Click this link to be brought to the intake form. Fill out the requested information, select your top 3 exploration leg choices, click submit. We use this information to begin filling all the slots available! We will do our ABSOLUTE BEST to get you on board! We expect this to be a massive undertaking, so please bear with us as we work to fill everyone’s top choices. Our goal is to get as many alumni onboard as possible.
Once we have the schedule assigned, we’ll send you an Invite to Join email! Please expect this email by Wednesday 8th of November at the latest. You will have 48 hours to make a deposit payment of 50% of the trip cost to secure your spot.
